Hello! My name is Samuel and I am a masters student at San Jose State University in the Quantum Technology program. I graduated from UC Davis with a BS in Applied Physics and an emphasis in Physical Electronics and intend to pursue a Phd degree in Physics/EE. My research revolves around quantum machine learning for applications in real world problems, and quantum hardware.

Outside of my studies, I am very passionate about community developement and helping to create positive environments for my peers and I as well as serving at my local church. A few of my hobbies include gaming/esports, backpacking/hiking, and airsoft. I'm a lemonade connoisuer and I also enjoy watching anime in my free time. I was born and raised in San Jose, California but my parents immigrated from Romania.
